Composed of 99% pure reflective Aluminium in two layers laminated together with a clear protective vinyl coating. This material is micro perforated to allow it to breathe and is therefore ideally suited for use in walls and roof spaces over existing bulk insulation (eg fibre-glass) where breathability is required. It may be used over ceiling joists, under rafters or in timber frame wall construction, also under suspended timber floors. It is extremely tough and puncture resistant and can span 8ft (2.4m) unsupported.
